I think it's nearly impossible to be 100% consistent.
The most consistent thing I try to do is go to bed and wake up at the same time.
Nope...but excellent points, no doubt. What I did was...I switched to another mask (used my Mirage Nasal Mask instead of my trusty Swift LT for Her mask....
AND...used a lesser chinstrap instead of my PapCap chinstrap. When my AHI went up I blamed it on the nasal mask even though I had no leaks. Switched back to my nasal pillows expecting that to fix it(still without the PapCap)...and no leaks..but my AHI stayed high. What?! Gotta believe the superior chinstrap with the PapCap not only helps hold my mouth closed (I still tape my mouth shut though)...but it also pulls my chin forward enough to help keep my airway open. I'm a member of the underdeveloped/wink chin club!

Anyway, I will find out tonight if everything goes back to normal once I get my PapCap back on my head!
