Resmed Vpap S- Is this an old machine?

Postby sleepywolverine on Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:10 pm

I hardly see anyone talk about it, and I'm trying to find out once and for all if I can see the data on this machine. I just got it this week from my DME. I have a clinician's guide but I don't know if the machine is one that will allow me to upload my data to a computer?

Thanks for the help

Looks like a pretty up to date S8 style bilevel to me :) the one linked to even has the latest 4i heated humidifier.
It also has 'EasyBreathe' & that is a recent Resmed addition.

If ever you want to find info on such a device merely type into GOOGLE on your web browser
Resmed Vpap S

& hit search :)

lol... of course I googled it. Actually I think I just finally found something that says it's definitely fully data capable. But no one ever mentions it here so I wasn't sure if I wasn't calling it the right name or what. So it's an S8? Cut me some slack, I'm a total newbie

By S8 I am meaning it is the latest shape (S8 style).
I am certain it is data capable. I haven't know of any S7 / S8 style Resmed bilevels that weren't & am confident this is no exception.

You are lucky to have such a nice machine :) - it sure ain't old

Cheers

This extract says it all for me ...

Rich data options
